This report is on a one-month interval instead of two, because I am starting with a new consultant and therefore a new supplements list, and because I was expecting to be resuming hormone therapy this month. However my latest test came back with (insert Hallelujah! here) a much-lower PSA score. As of October 15, 2012, the PSA dropped to 5.85, from 17.8 in September.

PSA has been the central focus of testing for 16 months, doubling every two months since ending hormone therapy in July 2011. The overall graph is a steep drop from the start at 266 in Sept. 2010 to <.1 in January 2011 through July 2011, then steady straight-line climbing to Oct. 2012.

The great curiosity is, among all the strategies that I have tried, what is the key to make this happen? I can think of seven new events in the past month:

I resumed taking Casodex based on intuition and the advice of a naturopath, plus I had a partial bottle left over from July 2011.

I had a treatment from Dr. Zhi Gang Sha, the Qui Gong master who helped me so much in October-November 2010. As before Dr. Sha was extremely generous and kind to me when I attended his presentation in Boulder Oct. 19. Dr. Sha’s interventions operate in the invisible realm, so I don’t really understand what he does, but for me he has been a great blessing.

On the advice of a nutritionist, I increased my intake of algae-based DHA. Being a vegetarian is a challenge in the area of healthy oil intake volume.

I switched to a stronger formula of Saw Palmetto, Prostavar, and doubled the dose. I have been using Frankincense internally throughout the process but I increased usage including external application of its essential oil on a film of DMSO in the pelvic areas. I had a great connective tissue treatment the night before the test. This was deep-tissue work and I noticed better posture and flexibility right away. I started a homeopathic immune system formula in preparation for possible additional strategies next month.

It is great to have a change in the PSA, and I will re-decide about hormone therapy in the next three weeks. I would prefer to avoid the expense and chemical intervention side-effects if possible.

Now over two years into the process, I feel well with normal energy. I still have not undergone surgery, radiation, chemotherapy or other methods. I was not a candidate for these due to my particular configuration, as described before.

Thanks again to all those who have been helping me through this adventure!
