Excellent news in this report. My PSA score a week ago is 1.88. To put this is perspective, the first score was 266, then it went to <.1 on hormone therapy for 9 months ending July 2011, then it climbed up to 17.85 by October 2012, basically doubling every two months. I was poised to go back on hormone therapy as described in the last entry, but was happily surprised to see 5.85 in October meaning that the hormone therapy could be postponed. To be down to 1.88 (well below 4, the level triggering concern) now is fantastic.

I am very curious about what are the variables behind the result. I am continuing the Casodex pills (the lightweight hormone treatment), the new supplements regimen mentioned before, and the same diet etc. (although a little looser now based on the advice of the new consultant).

I am pleased to see a video of myself on the www.DrSha.com web site because his treatments have been so important. Right after that late October treatment was when the 17.85 changed to 5.85 and perhaps the 1.88 now is a continuation of the effect of that Qi Gong treatment. I am so grateful for Dr. Sha’s generosity, sincerity and skill, as I described in the late 2010 entries when he intervened so significantly in a desperate time.

I have also been experimenting with a treatment approach described in William Bengston’s new book Energy Cure. As I have said several times over the course of this adventure, I am not approaching the whole situation as a science experiment and I am happy with the result no matter what may be the decisive cause.

Whatever the reason, I am feeling well with no symptoms, relieved to not be doing the more heavy-duty (Lupron before, Degarelix if I start that again) hormone therapy again because it made me tired and clumsy. Overall I feel that I am now well back from the edge.

Thanks again to all those who are supporting me in so many ways. I continue to have inquiries from many other cancer adventurers and I am happy to pass along any help that I can.
