Good news for me is that there is still nothing much to report, almost five full months since ending hormone therapy. In the absence of symptoms of any kind, I am feeling increasingly optimistic. My next medical testing is planned for the end of December; hopefully it will be another non-event.

When I contemplate the state I was in one year ago, I am very grateful that I seem to be getting a second chance, and also determined to make the best use of my time. I am especially appreciative of all the people who have supported me in this process. Something about the season of Thanksgiving-Christmas really brings out warm heartfelt feelings of gratitude, and an eagerness to serve others if opportunities arise.

I have updated the Strategies list; basically I am making minor changes constantly (new-to-me recently is the “Himalayan Salt Inhaler”), so please don;t hesitate to contact me with questions. I am cutting back here and there as I feel more confident, in order to have save time and money now that the peak of concern may be past.

I have recently watched two excellent documentaries, and I recommend them for anyone who knows anyone dealing with cancer: “Cancer: The Forbidden Cures” by Massimo Mazzucco, and “Burzynski” directed by Eric Merola. The latter tells the story of how the FDA spent $60 million of our tax dollars trying to shut down an effective alternative treatment for cancer, even while also stating that the treatment was effective.
